 OK, The sons Drop Down 8 x 4 table project is well and truly on the way.

 

 
 


 
 


 
 
Two more track sections to go here, C8200, 1/4 straight 87mm. Just before and after that right hand bend. The small one.

 

 

I will be posting photos a I progress, once a week unless I prgress quicker.

 
  Good fun to drive, around 3.8 4.5 sec. laps. About 26 foot in all.

 
 

Progress report -1/11/2010

 

Next stage, sort out the pits.

Lap Timing. Two Bright White LEDS, one over each lane. Directly over Infrared detectors which are in each slot. Cable runs under table to a 4 pin HDD skt, which mats to a HDD plug wired to pins 12 (L1) 13 (L2) 25 (Common). Software for timing is UR30 but I am currently testing PCSlot for printer port, which will be here for DL as soon as tests are complete. There is a new mouse version, PCSlotMouseOctober2010.zip if you wish to DL it.
